SHAVE THE RIGHT WAY

Shaving is a ritual to many men, a right of passage of growing up. But the correct way to shave is not to just foam up your face and drag a razer blade across your face.

PREP - The most important part of the entire shave comes from the start. Having a hot shower before a shave opens up your pores and softens your hair and skin, making your shave much easier to do.

LATHER - Shaving creams job is to protect your face. A good shaving cream lubricates your skin, lifts up your hairs for shaving.

THE SHAVE - First things first, make sure you always use a sharp blade. Dull blazes can cause damage to your face. Short light strokes, there is no need to push down, if you have to push down it means your blade is too dull. Rinse off your razer blade after each stroke.

Always shave with the grain, shaving against can cause irritation and ingrown hairs.

RINSE - Rinse off with cold water, this helps close off your pores. Do not wipe off with a towel, rather you should dab yourself dry.

Make sure you also dry off your razer! Keeping it clean and dry will increase the life span of your razer.
